Hello everyone,

This week will be the one of the midterm evaluation. I feel like I just began my work, and it’s already time to make my first sum-up. You will therefore find more on the freifunk blog.

I basically rewrote most of the function appearing in the Quagga suite in order to handle a source address in addition of the one that the functions were already using. This gives me a structure for the rest of the work. I patched a lot of function including message.c, xroute.c, and more. I also added a few output lines in the debug messages, but the next step will be to handle the source correctly.

This was quite a lot of work, but I feel that with all this new arguments, the functions are ready to handle source quite nicely.

I would like to thank the people who have worked on zebra once more, because their work is really useful in what I am doing in Quagga.

I invite you to read more on the freifunk blog and will give you more information on my work really soon !
